Wicklow Travellers Group is a community development organisation of
Travellers and settled people working together to promote human rights
for Travellers and create a society in which we are different, equal,
confident and valued. The organisation aims to empower Travellers and
our work is based on principles of adult education, community work,
youth work and positive physical and mental health promotion. We seek
to achieve awareness, recognition and celebration of Travellers unique
identity and culture and to empower Travellers in Wicklow and its
environs to enhance their quality of life.
PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR FOR
CO. WICKLOW PRIMARY HEALTHCARE PROJECT
(7 HOURS PER WEEK)
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
* Have experience of data entry, recording and reporting
* Have good experience using Microsoft Office
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
* Have an understanding of Traveller issues and Cultural diversity
* Have the ability to work as part of a team but also on own
initiative
* Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the work of the
project
